About the event:

For the past five years, NAYA's community partners dedicated to the educational and life success of our students who call the Early College Academy hallways and teachers their home and family have gathered to celebrate the hard work they have put into their education. The event includes a silent auction, lunch prepared by our students, traditional performance and you'll have a chance to hear from a student as they tell the crowd about their journey to personal success.

About the Early College Academy:

The NAYA Early College Academy (ECA) is committed to creating a positive education that emphasizes student empowerment and academic excellence. We value the integrity of core American Indian and Alaska Native values in partnership with parents, families, elders, and community members.

The NAYA ECA nourishes a hands-on, culturally relevant, student-centered learning environment. The Academy offers a blended high school and postsecondary curriculum for 9th to 12th graders aged 14 to 20. Students attending the Academy have the unique opportunity to earn a high school diploma and can earn college credit. Small class sizes encourage individualized educational options for each student. Academic programming integrates local Native culture, family and community outreach, and partnerships with Portland Community College and other postsecondary institutions.
